I’m a lost person in space without a home planet.
I see so many beautiful bodies of heaven going slowly around me.
Their shine are directed at me and I want to call out to them.
The problem is that I’m in space, and there isn’t any air to carry my voice.

So whenever I whisper, speak or cry out,
my voice fades away before even being uttered.
All I can do to communicate with the planets is to use body language,
but they are so far away that in their vision I become blurry.

Hooray! At last I've been able to update my lyrics collection. Sorry, these things take time! Plus I'm never completely satisfied, but here we go.....

The song is called "Aitsu Wo." It's track 3 of Rock Musical Bleach Saien. I've translated it as "For Her, For Him" because I don't *think* there is an English equivalent to the pronoun "aitsu" as it can be used for both men and women [Pls correct me if I'm wrong folks. I'll cope and edit as necessary!]. Thus, it can be either "her" or "him" and, in the context of this song, which is heaidng towards the fluffier side of Ichiruki (read Rukia's part!),

I reckon it can refer to either of them.

The point of these lyrics is NOT direct translation.

It is to write an English version of the song that fits with the original music. So I am fitting the English to the Japanese syllables and stresses. I've tried to retain the gist of the translation. Please correct me if I've missed the point COMPLETELY, but be aware that a laaaarge amount of flexibility in translation is needed to find English words that fit right.

I've also experimented a little with the rhyme scheme here, so they have a few couplets. The trend in Japanese seems to be to favour alliteration over rhyme, so I guess this westernises it a little, but let me know what you think.....
